DR. MARK BREINER: The first visit is going to be 90 minutes with me. And we're going to go and first of all sit down and do an extensive medical history, as well as a dental history. We're going to then go into the treatment room, and in the treatment room we're going to look for various dental problems. And we're going to do a soft tissue exam, I'm going to do a cavity exam, naturally. I'm going to use an instrument, it's called a KaVo, it's a laser instrument, to help us pick up decay where we may not be able to pick that up with our explorer.

I'm going to check the gums, I'm going to look for pocketing. We're going to take a plaque sample, which is the sticky substance just under the gums, and look at that under a microscope. And depending on the type of bacteria, we're going to really know if there's an ongoing problem, or something we need to address right away. And we're going to check for temporomandibular joint problems, bite problems.

And then from there we're going to go into do what I call the fun part. We're going to go and do EAV testing, electroacupuncture according to Voll, which is energetic testing along the acupuncture meridians. Although we're not puncturing anything.
